Innuendo X Share The Dignity

Innuendo by The Paramour is delighted to announce that the December 2021 - February 2022 recipient Charity for our For The Warriors Campaign will be Share the Dignity Australia. This means that $5 from every bottle of Endo Oil sold from 1st December (our launch day!) through to 28th February 2022, will go to this charity and the amazing work that they do.

“Are they the ones that give out the bags with pads and tampons?” We hear you ask… The answer is a resounding “YES!”
Starting in 2015, Share the Dignity was founded after identifying there was a genuine need to provide vulnerable women in the community with essential sanitary products. Women and children that were homeless or in shelters, often after fleeing abuse and domestic violence, were having to clean themselves in public toilets and use paper towels to create makeshift sanitary pads. This is something that they needed to change. Share the Dignity have several drives per year to help these women. Most recently, their largest campaign #itsinthebag, was carried out throughout November where donations of bags filled with essentials for Women could be dropped off to Bunnings stores around the country. Share the Dignity ensures these bags end up in the hands of those who need it most.
but that isn’t all they do…

In addition to gathering thousands of donations of essentials-filled handbags throughout the year, Share the Dignity works to make a real, on-the-ground difference in the lives of women and girls experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence or doing it tough. This is done through some incredible initiatives such as;
  • Dignity Vending Machines - providing vending machines with free sanitary items in domestic violence refuges, homelessness hubs, disadvantaged schools and hospitals
  • Drives for Indigenous menstrual health - period education in remote communities and work with elders to develop strategies to help support their communities and end period poverty
  • Advocacy work - like their Period Pride campaign
  • Operating volunteer programs and administrative support for fundraising events
Did you know...
To send a pallet of sanitary items, donations and educational resources from a major Australian city to a remote community can cost upwards of $1,400 and, purchasing and installing a Dignity Vending Machine can cost upwards of $1,000.
And this is where your donation from Endo Oil comes in... To help Share the Dignity keep doing what they are doing and growing their reach to help as many Australian women and children as possible and support them behind the scenes after all the donations are collected.
Together with Innuendo we can work to ensure that everyone is afforded the dignity in life that so many of us take for granted.
Support Share the Dignity this December by purchasing an Endo Oil here.
